I got my new computer and have had a real hard time getting it going, ~ I'm now online and have managed to get the sound going as well ~ thanks so much to those who responded to my earlier plea ~ I might not have much time on dA in the next week or so ~ if I miss any of your newest deviations, I'm very sorry, but it may not be possible for me to see and fave all of them

A good friend of mine died of cancer, 9th July, ... she's the second friend to die this year, and they were both the same age as me ... ~ thank you to all those who responded to this ~ I appreciate it

"I also had a difficult time choosing from the advance, but I must say that from the moment I first saw this deviation, and now again up close to write this comment, I said "Wow". This is quite an endeavor. I gave a challenge, and *Gild-a-Lily ran with it! The chimera is fascinating, it's placed in a believable environment, it's taking up most of the space, and the additional textures were used like a pro to pull the image together. Well done! "
