Christmas and Winter Feature

Back!!
I've finished the artwork for my brother's CD but will not be able to upload it to dA until some time next year! It has to be kept confidential until the CD is actually released. I ended up doing 4 images - one for the cover, one for the back cover and two inserts. It's been very challenging, yet enjoyable

I am now back on dA and will switch my devwatch back on. I've really missed everyone and am looking forward to seeing all your artwork. However, I'm still a bit pressed for time ~ things are really busy at work, plus there's all the preparations for Christmas to see to

See y'all soon

PS: Thanks to all my new watchers ~ I really appreciate your interest

Useful Scripts for dA
Recently I've been researching User Scripts that are available to download and install if you use Firefox Browser. These scripts are little add-on programs and I've found quite a few that are specific to dA

First you must install an add-on to Firefox called Greasemonkey

Here are the best I've found so far for dA:
Random Emo Title Generator

This is SO cool ~ it installs a tab next to your Title Box when you submit art ~ click it and see the random titles it comes up with! It's a great idea when you can't think up a title yourself.
Incidentally, I came across this online random title generator via Google

Watching You?

This is a useful little tool that tells you if deviants are watching you when you go on their pages ~ it shows up as a little gold icon to the right of their user icons

Comments Text Formatting

This one is useful and fun ~ it gives you clickable choices for instantly formatting your text in comments (and journals I've just noticed). It also features a nifty drop down box for emotes where you just click on the one you want and it magically appears in your comment/journal. The only blip is that it only works in NEW comments and not when you REPLY to comments. Still good, tho

Thumber

Wow, I really like this one. Once installed, you'll see "thumber" appear next to "messages" at the top of your page. When you view galleries, click the thumber and HEY PRESTO all the thumb codes magically appear underneath each thumb. I've been using it for this journal and it makes life so much easier

I hope you try out one or all of these ~ they really do enhance the dA experience
